mbpayday.online is a free timecard and paycheck tracker that runs in your browser. It has no accounts and no sign-in. There are no analytics, ads or tracking scripts, and the app doesn't load anything from other websites.

What stays on your device

Everything you enter is saved in your browser's storage on this device. It isn't sent to us, and we can't see it. It isn't encrypted, so anyone who can use this browser profile can read it.

• workpay_local_v1: your jobs, shifts, paystub figures, notes and settings (state, filing status, deductions, currency), plus a shift you're clocked in to
• mbpaystub_theme_v1: whether you chose light or dark mode
• mbpayday.lastBackup: when you last saved or exported a backup, for the backup reminder
• mbpayday.backupFile: the name of the backup file you chose (only the name, not the folder)
• mbpayday.welcomed: that you've seen the welcome screen
• mbpayday.timecard: which job the Timecard list was filtered to
• A small browser database named mbpayday: on browsers that support it (Chrome and Edge on a computer), the file you picked for "Save backup now", so the app can update that same file

Clearing your browser's site data, or using Data → Clear all data in the app, removes it. If you install the app, your browser also keeps a copy of the app's files (not your data) so it opens offline.

What leaves your device

• Nothing. The app makes no requests to other services.

Our web host receives the standard request information every website receives (such as IP address and browser type) to deliver the pages. That's handled by the hosting company under its own privacy policy.

Exports and backups

Save backup now, Export All (JSON), Export This Page (CSV) and Export All (CSV, .zip) save files to your device, either a folder you pick or your Downloads folder. Where they go after that is up to you. They contain your pay records, so keep them private. Import Backup reads a file you choose inside your browser; nothing is uploaded. Share images are drawn on your device and only go where you send them. Pay amounts and job names are left off share images unless you turn them on.

Children

The app isn't directed at children under 13 and doesn't knowingly collect their personal information.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
